Pockets is an American Singer/ Songwriter with a story the world should hear. She grew up being influenced by the sounds of Prince, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Amy Winehouse and Stevie Ray Vaughn but did not start doing music seriously until she was wrongfully imprisoned in Fresno county. She fought the case for two years and beat it, but during that two years she had to rebuild everything she had lost. During that time of gaining her life back, music became the therapy she needed. Pockets started doing open mics, and networking, as well as making time to record on her phone and make music for people out there who need to hear it. She is a true artist who does music because she loves it, in her own words “it’s something that was there for me when no one else was, and I want to pay that forward…” Expect great things to come from this incredible talent.
