Sheila Shaw comes through with major flavor on the new release “My Set”.
A Trap hip hop record that leans on sharp cadence and a confident, unbroken flow. Sheila Shaw rides the production with a controlled intensity, shifting pockets without losing momentum, as the beat stays minimal and heavy, giving space for her delivery to cut through clean and direct.
On My Set, frames ambition through self-definition, stacking lines with a steady, declarative tone rather than overcomplication. The hook lands quickly and repeats with a natural pull, reinforcing the record’s central attitude.
The production keeps things dark and streamlined, with crisp drums and low-end weight supporting her vocal presence. Shaw’s flow switches subtly across verses, adding texture without disrupting the structure. This record carries a consistent energy from start to finish, reflecting an artist sharpening her voice and refining her lane in contemporary trap hip hop to make a song you have to buy into majorly.
