Maxi Meraki and Nico de Andrea link up for a hypnotic deep house moment on their latest release, “You Are My High”
The track that leans fully into atmosphere and emotion with it being smooth in its rolling bassline and polished percussion. The production feels effortlessly refined while still carrying plenty of warmth, while vocal samples float gently over the mix, repeating the title phrase in a way that feels euphoric, pulling listeners deeper with each pass.
What really stands out is the restraint. Rather than chasing big drops, the duo lets the track breathe, allowing subtle melodic layers and evolving textures to do the heavy lifting. The result is a song that works just as well on a sunset drive as it does on a dimly lit dancefloor.
“You Are My High” is deep house done right that is sleek and endlessly replayable, as this pair show they understand the power of mood and movement.
