Jagwag, Astrak, and Kāi come together to deliver an emotive dance-pop track that dives deep into the struggle of moving forward after a break up “Over You”.
The song brings the perfect storm of upbeat inspiring grooves and introspective lyricism, to create a dynamic contrast that captures the inner spirit of having the strength of moving on. The smooth ethereal vocals glide effortlessly over the driving sound and shimmering synths, to build an infectious yet reflective sound that melts the listener for every second. The lyrics speak to the difficulty of moving on but finding the strength to make something empowering just as much as it’s relatable, to make something you must be apart of.
The production is polished and danceable, but it’s the emotional depth of the music that truly stands out, making it both a sonic and lyrical journey, that impresses with this blend of personal storytelling and vibrant sound to make a record with unlimited replay value.
