Happy Monday!! Hope everyone had a great weekend and ready to start the week off strong. For Mondays we always try to showcase releases that are big time in their approach. Those songs that shine in their excellence to help us set a tone, as well as serve as the perfect pick me up for you all as well, so today we had to start with this grand collaboration from The Knocks and Dragonette called “Foolish Pleasure”.
As soon as you hit play there’s no denying the magic that is taking place. the mastery in the sound is one of this record’s greatest assets with a nice retro 80’s touch to the music, that brings the big lights to the sound, with the synths shining bright to make you get lost in this epic sound. To add more life to song you get a vocal performance that stands out in it’s Pop appeal, to deliver the writing to perfection to make a song that truly doesn’t miss.
The Knocks and Dragonette’s “Foolish Pleasure” is a smash of a record that shows how great music can be when the care is put in to the music. Each element works together in perfect harmony to make for an undeniable display of music that you will love every second of.
