Hip Hop music is at it’s best when you feel the soul in it. When it ditches the vanity for real substance that makes a true connection, that goes beyond just hearing something dope, but something that shines in its authenticity, as well as transparency to make you want to get invested in the music. That experience is what you get from C.Shreve the Professor, Tab One, and Scottie Royal on the new song “Where I’d Go”.
The music encompasses a golden age feel, with great boom bap percussion that gives it that knock, a slick bass line that gives it that flavor, and piano chords to bring that heartfelt emotion to set a brilliant tone for the emceeing that takes place. The rhyming is super on point with sharp lyricism that packs a punch in every bar, to make you marvel at the pen, while being delivered with the ultimate conviction in the flows to make it all land home to make it all truly supreme.
This release embodies the collaboration Hip Hop music is known for, as well as the soul that makes it timeless to make for a grand listen, that you will cherish every second of.
