Music is an art from that is subjective like no other. Being such a wide ranging art it can bring people together, just as much as it can divide but there’s no denying how much we all love a big time record. Those songs that have such a commanding presence to them, that we know it was meant for the world to hear. Strÿkenine brings that type of record with their new powerful release “Open Your Eyes”.
It’s a record that is truly mega in its approach and it shines in every way. The music has a 80’s Rock feel that is reminiscent of Van Halen, with a strong anthem sound that engulfs you in the waves of the music with its big time percussion and powerful guitar riffs that push the song forward in a major way. For the big time sound, you get a vocals performance that rises above it with burning desire, that connects at a spiritual level to make the empowering lyrics felt in a major way, on this stand out release that leaves an impression on the listener that lasts way beyond the duration of the song.
It’s a statement of a record that goes beyond just something nice to hear, but how powerful music can be with the spirit of this song being everything that gets people through in a real way!
