Hip Hop is a genre that shines in its rawness. In its bold unapologetic energy that is boisterous in its approach on getting the listener’s attention, as well as being the voice for our honest thoughts. That brashness is what made Hip Hop such a in your face thing, that made it impossible to ignore as it took over the airwaves. That same type of energy is what you get from Wyn Calico’s new release “F**k Love”.
The music shines in many ways starting with the production, that fuses hard knocking 808’s, with exhilarating piano keys that get you on the edge of your seat as the music comes to life. With the tone set Wyn’s flow is commanding and packs an infinite amount of swagger, to deliver the catchy writing, that is bold yet fun in its approach to make sure we have something we can enjoy without limits.
