Artists today have it harder than any generation before their time, with music being more accessible to make than ever. With so many different tools out there, someone can really decide to make music and by the end of the day have a song done which makes the scene overcrowded. Especially a genre like Hip Hop music. To stand out an artist has to really give their all to the music to make them stand out in a real way and JDPassion stands out as something special. He raps with so much heart and you feel it as such with his new project “Through My Eyes” bringing 13 songs to life. We decided to break down a couple of the songs we like the most and sure you will too.
We Alive – The third track on the project that makes for real excitement. The production is commanding its major bass that knocks, and JDPassion is big time enough to shine through it all, with great conviction in the flow that makes you feel the presence, while the lyrics cut through in their sharpness, to make a bold statement of record that gets you invested in this music in a real way.
What I’d Say – Following up from “We Live” is this record that keeps the momentum going, while also maintaining the same excitement. His desire to be great really connects to the spirit, with so much heart being put into the craft, that it stands out and makes you feel the music just as much as you hear it. He fires off impressive hard lyrics at will, and leaves a lasting impression that makes you buy into this must hear talent, with something to say.
