LACES and BELLSAINT team up for a hard-hitting pop anthem with their new single “American Grime.”
The song does a grand job on fusing catchy pop melodies with a nice edge to offer a raw commentary on societal issues, in the most digestible way possible. The vocals carry fierce energy, that cut through the the big time percussion and perfectly layered synths and underlying guitar melodies in the chorus.
Lyrically the confronts the darker side of the American dream, exploring themes of corruption, materialism, and disillusionment, while the contrast between the smooth, infectious chorus and the jagged verses creates a dynamic listening experience that keeps you engaged from start to finish, on this major release that brings both vulnerability and defiance to the track, to make a true Pop standout
