Su’s latest track, “New Ceilings Old Floor,” is a powerful combination of heartfelt melodies and sharp lyricism, showing his range and emotional depth. The song opens with a captivating, soulful vocal performance, where Su lays down introspective verses over the cinematic approach to the sound, as he reflects on growth, struggles, and breaking through old limitations, setting the tone for the fireworks in the second half.
As the track shifts into the second half, Su transitions seamlessly into the hard-hitting rhymes, where the energy builds in a major way. The sound carries a stronger punch, perfectly matching the rapid-fire lyricism. The delivery is confident, weaving together themes of ambition, resilience, and leveling up while reflecting on the past. The contrast between the soft, heartfelt intro and the more aggressive sound creates a compelling narrative that resonates deeply with fans everywhere.
