The power of music is truly infinite. It’s a tool that can truly change the world, spark thoughts, or be that friend in need whenever you need it. If you’re an artist it’s important to understand that and treat it with the most care, because there’s no telling the effect you can have on the listener. The ultra talented Alexa Kate understands this to perfection with the new song “to my younger self (Roses)”.
An emotive commercial song that beautifully reframes the doubts of youth to connect to the heart of the masses. Bringing to life heartfelt lyrics, it envisions the admiration one’s younger self would feel towards present achievements. Alexa’s sweet soulful vocals and heartfelt delivery create a touching narrative, encouraging listeners to reflect on their growth and accomplishments, while the song’s melodic composition and uplifting chorus inspire a sense of pride and self-compassion,. This record is a powerful reminder of the journey from self-doubt to self-love, making it a resonant anthem for anyone reflecting on their personal evolution.
