Theres music you listen to as just music, as just sounds, and there’s music you listen to that resonates, has feeling, and depth. This is the latter. Anwen Rose comes today with a song that not only sounds good, but feels good. You can tell that so much emotion and past experiences went into the making of it.
The smooth vocals and energy of the song put me in mind of an old school Paramore sound. I could easily hear these same lyrics coming Hayley Williams circa 2009. This song brings an energy that feels lacking in music currently, while still feeling like I could easily hear this in the middle of any mainstream media, which is not easy to do while still feeling this authentic.
