Who is YF LINK the artist?
YF LINK the artist is someone who grew into his own. I Been doing music well over a decade and to say the least I’m a creator who’s passionate about the craft and spreading love through music. I came from humble beginnings so I appreciate every opportunity and give my blessings to God everyday!!
What inspired the lyrical approach to “GOOD MORNING “?
I just feel like the game has it’s shortcomings of lyrical content when artist actually focused on subject matters and hooks, let’s bring that back more.
In your opinion what is the bar you wrote that you knew would get people’s attention and break it down?
“Cause ain’t no 401k in the dope game, and niggas barely getting rich off of cocaine.” Back in the day I seen my uncles get a lot of money in the streets growing up. Fast forward, none of them have nothing to show for it but some habits and extravagant stories of how they was balling. If you can get in and get out escaping jail or death, I consider that a blessing! How can you get rich off crack in this era when everyone is snitching or hating????
What do you think is the bar that people may sleep on listening to “GOOD MORNING ” and why?
It’s nothing to sleep on, everything is directly in your face.
What would you rate your pen on “GOOD MORNING ” 1-10? 10 being the highest?
I’ll probably give it a 9 I’m still growing as an artist everyday.
