Mike G is fresh off the release of his latest EP “EXILE”. The project is Mike G at his finest, delivering incredible lyricism and innovative music to keep the world turning. The release of his video “Purchase” is perfect with it being on our faves from the project. It’s Mike showing his record making ability as he floats lyrically, while being smooth with the flow that is focused and makes everything fit over this dreamy production just right.
The video directed by Michael Greigo has a throwback feel with a nice combination of Mike dropping rhymes in the studio in a intimate setting, and courting a woman with his gem filled lyrics to match the song “Purchase” perfectly.
Mike G’s “Purchase” is the right video at the right time, for the right artist. Mike has magic on his hands with his new “EXILE” EP and this record gives you every reason to listen for more from this incredible talent.
